Philosophy

At A Growing Place academy we believe learning and education should be fun, first and foremost.  The love of learning should be instilled in every child.  Every child should be given every opportunity to reach his or her full potential.  Every child is an individual and should be treated that way.

Mission Statement

At A Growing Place Academy our staff is committed to providing an educational atmosphere Where learning is fun.

Affirmative Action Statement

A Growing Place Academy advertises for children in the public media in order to make openings known to all.  Children are admitted regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, religion or handicap.

General Polices

A Growing Place Academy has an open door policy.  Parents are welcome to visit the facility anytime.  Keep in mind that when your child sees you he or she is ready to go home.  Due to high levels of activity at opening, closing and lunchtime visits are encouraged at other times during the day.  The office door is always open to parents.  If you ever have a question or concern please ask.  Don’t go home and stew about it.

Attire

Children need to wear uniforms and sneakers.  Daily activities include active and messy play.  As accidents happen, please send a set of seasonally appropriate play clothing, including socks, just in case.  Children also need a small blanket for rest time.  All of this is to be left at the center.  Please label these items with your child’s first and last name.

Children who are 6 weeks to 5 years of age are eligible to be enrolled.  Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.  A non-refundable Pre-Registration fee may be paid in advance to hold an opening for up to 2 weeks.
